Per 2008 Polish Institute in Kyiv has provided eight scholarships for writing new compositions by Ukrainian composers. Four of the eight are L’viv composers. The concert of new musical compositions will be held on April 21 in Lviv Philharmonic Hall. "SINFONIA IUVENTUS" Orchestra/Warsaw/  will perform the mentioned above concert. Then the concerts are to be conducted in  Warsaw and Kyivv. "

 Environment  Project “Transgression”

The project includes several stages, different actions & installations and they’ll be held in different  places, periods, conditions & environments.
The first actions will be presented on Easter-Day & L’viv-Birth-Day in  Stryyskyj  Park (April 20-May 3). The event is dedicated to the 150-year anniversary of the Park. Curator: Myroslav Vayda, master of land-art. 
The second stage will “choose” the ruins of defensive fortifications of  I World War /within the   Festival Fort.Missia”/,  /July10-19 /.
Third stage – within the Festival  “Pidkamen” /July 20-26 /.
One more interesting stage is the revival  of the famous Project "New Noah's Ark" /June 14-21/ in the Carpathians, farm Sida.
Final stage - the exhibition of the best land-art projects in the Gallery “Dzyga” /August 17/. Presentation of the catalogue.

L'viv Days in Krakow

Art Association “Dzyga”  is going to  present  L’viv  cultural achievements & success in another Polish  twin-city Krakow. The program of “L’viv Days” will provide for  some visual projects of Vlodko Kaufman, Yurko Kokh, Yevhen Ravs’kyj Volodymyr Kostyrko and Art Formation “KOMA”.  “Dzyga” intends to include into its presentation a number of tested by  “JazzClub.L’viv” concerts of  L’viv jazzmen.  

Festival “Flugery L’vova” /Weather-Vanes of L’viv/

This Festival usually takes place when  L’viv city celebrates its birthday. So,  all-around atmosphere influences the festival greatly.
 Just try to imagine all kinds of solemnities, concerts, overcrowded cafés, a huge  number of  tourist’s groups,variety of national costumes, decorated sculptures of lions, out-door performances & shows, spontaneous impromptus. At last you meet evening  and like a tired veteran after hurly-burly war find your jazz shelter. It’s time for music, good coffee, cigar and  flavour of spring blossom… Your eyes slowly “catch” the views of Town Hall, it’s  “big ben”, glimmer of candles, imposable  & nostalgia looking men sipping cognac, youth & beer just on the ground… Jazz melodies envelop  and then absorb you.  

Tat is the atmosphere & mood of each Festival. This year one will be the best of all!

“Night of Museums”

As usual, the end of May will  give us the opportunity to enjoy the project “Night of Museums”. This year it will combine a number of  unusual and ideologically identical actions. “MT-3” jazz band’s  presentations and  project “Voices On-line” in one of L’viv museums  are only the first attractions of the “Night…”

“Night of Culture in Lublin”

Festival “Night of Culture” in Lublin /Poland/  is one of the most famous Polish festivals. One night  there is the time for about 200 different cultural projects.
This year “Dzyga” will present L’viv  artistic environment with performances, happenings, street shows.  “Mt-3” jazz band is working  at  some special jazz compositions inspired by Polish poetry.

Festival "Pidkamin"

Place of conduction –  Pidkamin’ village, one of the most mysterious and picturesque area not far from L’viv.  
Ethno- Festival  “ Pidkamin’” is only  two-year experienced . Nevertheless  it has cut all records if to take into account extreme & relax.

Almost all prominent Ukrainian groups have participated in “Pidkamin’” , amongst: “VV”, “Komu Vnyz”, “Perkalaba”, “Vij”, “Mertvyj Piven’”, “Rusychi”, “Jurkesh”, “TIK”, “Hutsul Kalipso”, “TaRUTA”, “Soncekljosh”,  “Choboty z Buhaja”, “Dyvni”, “Propala Hramota”, “DrymbaDaDzyga”, “Hudaky”, “Lomaga’s Band”, “Zamkova Tin’”…

All days & nights of Festival are filled with all possible attractions, namely performances, knights battles, “Cabinet” literary presentations ,  tasting of traditional cookery, cycle- excursions to the ancient castles and places of interest, balloon air-trips, alpinist master classes, fire-shows,  traditional handcraft exhibitions, all sorts of entertainment for kids at “Baby Open Garden”, authentic  groups’  concerts…

The third Festival “Pidkamin’”  promises to be more grandiose
