«Bogna Kicinska Jazz Project» Master-Classes

This year Festival “Flugery L’vova”/Weather-vanes of L’viv”/ is going to present four-day /April 30-May 3/  series of master-classes of Polish vocalist Bogna Kichinska /www.myspace.com/bognakicinska/  & the musicians of her group: Cuba Chihotski - piano, Michael Yaros - bass, Mateusz Smochynski - violin, Sebastian Frankiewicz - drums. Jam sessions on the main stage of the Festival are considered to be one of the components of the master-classes.

Cultural Management

Series of lectures, master- classes and practical-classes in the sphere of «cultural management» are to be hold in June-July 2009. Co-organizer: «Culture Center of Lublin city».

Workshops in Hodzhyezh (Poland)

July 19 - August 1, 2009. Ukrainian jazz musicians will have the opportunity to participate in jazz workshops in Hodzhyezh /Poland/.  A number of prominent European jazz musicians will be ready to share their mastership, skill & experience.

Master-classes. French Jazzman Francois Thuillier / tube/.

December 2009, Festival “Jazz Bezz”. Prominent French jazz virtuoso François  Thuillier /http://francois.thuillier.free.fr / is going to  participate in the Festival  “Jazz Bez” & to held his master-classes in L’viv. He is a founder & leader of «Mega Tuba Orchestra» - a unique jazz band, which 90% consists of tubs. Master-classes will be based on lectures devoted to this rare in jazz-music instrument 

Festival «Fort.Missia» Land-art Master-Classes.

Participants of the Environment project «Transgression» will take part in the Festivals «Fort.Missia» And then, both teachers & students, will translate into reality  their  own land-art projects within the Festival «Pidkamen’» /as authors & curators/.

Performance Master -Classes

Janusz Baldyha (Poland), an outstanding master of performance, will hold the trainings on performance for young Ukrainian artists in L’viv with their  following opportunity to participate in «Performance Days in L’viv» /August 24-September 6, 2009/

P.S.Our experience “whispers” that it’s far from to be the end. In the process of communication with the «internal» & «outside» world, we believe, a lot of new ideas will be born. Some of them will find their place in 2009,  all the rest will join the program- 2010.
