The first and currently the sole one annual Festival of Performance Art in Lviv and in Ukraine! The Days of Performance Art in Lviv
In 2006 the Polish Institute in Kyiv launched the first festival of performance in Ukraine - the Days of Performance Art. In 2008 the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Dzyga Art Association joined the Festival as the co-organisers. The same year the Festival was successfully realised in Lviv as a mighty autonomous block within the TYZHDEN/Week of Contemporary Art project, and it has evoked a keen response in mass media and among artists and art critics. The School of Performance was initiated just that time as well. The subsequent Days of Performance Art (2009, 2010) have already felt themselves "at home" in Lviv . 2010In 2010 the School of Performance was held within the Tyzhden/Week of Contemporary Art and the Days of Performance Art from 23 to 26 August.
